Return and Refund Policy

1. Introduction

This document outlines the Return and Refund Policy ("Policy") of Spatial Technologies. The Policy sets forth the terms under which customers may return products purchased from Spatial Technologies. Spatial Technologies is committed to providing high-quality services and products; however, should the need for a return arise, this Policy shall govern such circumstances.

2. Policy Duration

The Policy is valid for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. Returns or exchanges requested beyond this 30-day period will not be accommodated, except under exceptional circumstances approved in writing by Spatial Technologies management.

3. Conditions for Return

To qualify for a return, the product must be in its original, unused condition, and housed in the original packaging. Products may be subject to a restocking charge. Returns that do not meet these conditions are subject to partial refunds or may be entirely ineligible for refunds.

4. Exclusions

Products that are custom-made or special orders are non-returnable and are excluded from this Policy.

5. Return Authorization

To initiate a return, the customer must provide proof of purchase and obtain a valid Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) from Spatial Technologies. Returns sent without a valid RMA will not be accepted. Customers may request an RMA via email from Spatial Technologies.

6. Eligibility Assessment

A representative from Spatial Technologies will assess the return request and, if eligible, will issue an RMA number for reference.

    7. Refund Process

    Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item, Spatial Technologies will notify the customer of the refund decision via email. Approved refunds will be processed and credited to the original method of payment within a specified period.

    8. Late or Missing Refunds

    Customers who have not received a refund are advised to:
    • Check their bank account again.
    • Contact their credit card company, noting that posting times may vary.
    • Contact their bank regarding processing times.

    9. Exchanges and Returns

    Items that are defective or damaged may be exchanged. Customers should email and return the item to:

    10. Shipping Costs

    The customer is responsible for all shipping costs related to returning the item. These costs are non-refundable, and if a refund is issued, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund.

    11. Shipping of Exchanged Products

    The time it takes for an exchanged product to reach the customer may vary depending on location. For items valued over $75, customers are advised to use a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance, as Spatial Technologies does not guarantee receipt of returned items.

    12. Clearance Terms & Conditions

    In addition to the above, the following terms apply to clearance items:
    • 30-Day Warranty (Instruments Only): Clearance instruments are covered by a 30-day limited use warranty for defects under normal use. Any misuse of the product voids this warranty.
    • Calibration (Instruments Only): Instruments are calibrated prior to sale to ensure quality and accuracy.
    • Appearance Variations: Product images are for reference only; actual clearance items may vary slightly in appearance but this does not affect functionality.
    • Non-Refundable: All clearance items are sold on a non-refundable, final sale basis.
    • Fully Functioning & Inspected: Each clearance item is guaranteed to be fully functioning and has been inspected for quality and defects.
    • Limited Availability: Clearance items are available in limited quantities and are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
